Embodying Life: Therapeutic Strategies In Person-Centered Collaborative Care
with Dr. Mitch Stargrove, N.D. L.Ac.
We are partnering with Net of Knowledge to provide you with this event.
Net of Knowledge is an exciting new continuing education platform built specifically for TCM and integrative health practitioners.
In Embodying Life we look at contrasting world views and approaches in medicine from historical and clinical perspectives. In particular, the three worlds mythophysiology of Chinese medicine provides a guide to observing living systems and sets the stage for understanding modern systems theory and its clinical application. The Therapeutic Strategy Map and the 4Cs Collaborative Care system offer operative models for cultivating the therapeutic relationship, facilitating self-healing in patients, and framing relationships within multidisciplinary medical interventions.
– Be able to discuss historical roots and practical meaning of “healing” and “medicine”
– Be able to show correlation between Three Jiao and operative models of meta-physiology.
– Be able to show where each therapeutic intervention fits into 3×3 Strategy Map.- Be able to show relationship dynamics and necessary functions in collaborative care.
